I was tasked with creating a lifestyle rock climbing brand for a promotional show. Starting with the name Crag & Timber I came up with idea of incorporating both mountain and trees. The rock climber's trusty tool, the carabiner, resembles a lot of that of the ampersand so I incorporated that into the icon. I wanted this to have the vibe of companies like North Face, Lewis & Clark, and Columbia.
